Carried over from the worthwhile fashion blog thread. Figured this chick may need her own!

Her about me section is dated December 2011 and says she will be 21 in January. Married in 2010. I think the heavy makeup makes her look a lot older.

Some of her outfits are quite nice, but she is just SO overdone all the time.

DAMMIT yet another blog I may have to click on. She looks very pretty in the photos in the 'worthwhile' thread but DAMN she doesn't look like a college student at all. I know that most college students walk around in their pj's and UGG boots but it seems like there must be a happy medium between Victoria's Secret fleece pants and a gold sequin blazer with a Birkin bag.

Also, someone on another forum I frequent refers to nude patent shoes as 'silly putty shoes' and now that is all I see when I see 'nude' shoes.  I used to like them!Cry

Exactly. And if we scoff at their choices, they get all defensive and act like we want them to wear pajamas and flip flops like some slobby frat dude. Hell no! Maybe I'm just a boring preppy Masshole, but all through undergrad and grad school I almost exclusively rocked cord blazers, jeans and loafers. Sometimes a wool skirt and tall boots. I know that's not for everyone, but it's age appropriate, comfortable and pulled together. Who's wearing stilettos and tight pencil skirts when they have to walk all over campus?

What is she studying? If she's going into something like sales or public relations, I could maybe see the outfits. Maybe? Or is she majoring in 'gonna be a mormon mommy blogger, gonna get those mad hits and c/o's'?

Edit- well that is mint green polish on her toenails. It took me three times looking at the photo to realize that it wasn't a weird detail on the shoe.

OK, can of worms! here but I feel like Jessica Q used to do outfits like this pretty well. Wearable, feminine, cute, classic, age-appropriate. Did I dream that?

I think it has less to do with her major and more to do with being married, perfect wife to her B-school husband, etc.

Pre-Quirk days and when she had a real job, most likely.

Haha! I am, too!

I'm in grad school now, and my go-to look because I always go to class after working in an office all day, is a pair of modest heels or flats with a pencil skirt or plain black slacks, blouse, and a cardigan. It looks put together, but it's not over-the-top.

UGH. Ok, fine. But can I blame Kate Middleton or the Kardashians for this thing of 'I JUST WANT TO BE A WIFE AND MOMMY BECAUSE I THINK IT JUST INVOLVES STANDING AROUND AND PREENING WHILE PEOPLE PRAISE ME FOR HAVING IT ALL?'

I like her but when I clicked over and saw that lace dress is $400+ and she's a college student? Ugh, jealous. I once spent $150 on a dress and that was lot.

And I appericate any blogger that links to alternatives but the ones she had didn't look like the dress.

So sad, so poor.

Too much lipliner on this one.

And it's incredibly obvious that she doesn't pay for one iota of anything she buys. Her family has money. The thing about these bloggers is that they don't ever buy things that are attainable. It's like when I read Lucky magazine (which I can't stand and therefore will only read it in the salon): I'm always expecting that maybe I can afford some of what is in there, but nope. Wrong.

She's cute, but seriously, the makeup is way way too much. I'm 28 and I don't wear even close to that much. She must have a couple of insecurity issues, because she's a pretty girl who doesn't need that much damn product.

Especially on her lips. Eeesh.
