I'll never forget the post she did on movie theatre etiquette:  http://etiquettewithmissjanice.blogspot.com/2009/06/shopping-lunch-and-moviein-palm-beach.html

And those memorable overalls…

Can I say how much I love these coveralls? They are sooooo Miss Janice! Some might say, "You wore coveralls to the Gardens Mall?" I say "With the darling Lilly cap, monogrammed pink & green Bonanno sandals, and Lilly monogrammed Bermuda Bag…absolutely, yes ma'am I did!"

The caption to her latest instagram…"Etiquette tip: a hostess gift says 'Thank you for inviting me.' Afterwards, a thank-you note should be sent to the hostess, thanking her for her hospitality. #etiquette #hostessgift #thankyounote #sayingthankyou."

Well I would like to say a big thank you to YOU, Janice. Prior to this little lesson of yours, I had no earthly idea what a hostess gift was!! Thank you for helping me to mend my uncouth ways.

Thank you, thank you, hamcats for introducing me to Miss Janice. My current favorite post is the syperbowl spread with the labeled snacks. Cause God knows it's so easy go confuse sliders, deviled eggs, and wings.

In the comments of that post about movie theater etiquette, someone says she looks elegant in her overalls… lol I want what these ladies are smoking. She looks like a middle aged toddler!

Also I gotta say, at the risk of potentially offending some people in here (I dunno if anyone reading is super into them), nothing says "nouveau riche" to me like having a bunch of stuff with monograms on it that really should not. Your great grandmother's silver? Charming. Stationary? Perfect. On the shades of a cheap brass light fixture you bought at Home Depot, spray painted barbie pink, and hung up in your walk in closet? Gross.

The monogramming is out. of. control. right now. Not just Janice, but everyone! Stop the madness! Not only are people monogramming absolutely absurd things, the sheer multitude of monogrammed items existing in close proximity to one another are overwhelming.

To me, it doesn't say nouveau, although it definitely ain't old money; it really just says "trendy", "tacky", or "tasteless". I hope these people don't think they're fooling anyone by monogramming every other item in their closet, right? That can't be it!

Monogrammed items in my house growing up: Inherited silver (battered because it has been overused and poorly cared for); needlepoint stuff made by relatives in the 1960s; LL Bean backpacks and totes; some shirts. That's about as much as is appropriate.

Also from that gem of a post:

"~California Pizza Kitchen for lunch…my standard order–Split Pea Soup, Caesar Salad with Grilled Shrimp, Baguette, and Iced Tea. CPK is definitely one of Miss Janice's Top Ten Places to Dine!"

Fancy, she is!

Oh, and:

"~Bloomingdale's to check out all the Lilly and purchase new Chanel eyeshadow…in pink, of course."

Pink eyeshadow. PINK.

She might actually be a smidge less annoying if she'd LEARN SOME ETIQUETTE and understand that name-dropping is TRES, TRES TACKY! She just HAD to tell everyone all of the DARLING! stores she visited. Barf. puke

Oh, I'm sorry, Miss Janice. Was that smiley tres, tres tacky?

It's probably for the best that these pompom chandelier shades can't be fixed because they are AWFUL.

The fact that that woman named her dog "Jaycee" immediately told me everything I needed to know about her.

Do you all remember that stretch of time when she got all dolled up in her Lily and hair ribbons and Cartier ring and Chanel flats and was a spectator at the Casey Anthony trial.  Good times.

Someone on her blog commented that they saw her on television and recognized her hair bow.
