Guys…..this is BBB we're talking about.  I guarantee she isn't really making this stuff. It's all just another paid blog post.  wink

I obviously have way to much time and a very boring life but in any case, I wanted to see how it really compared.

Here goes:
Dip = 152cal for 1 serving
Graham Crackers = 130cal for 1 serving
Total for snack = 282 calories

1 funfetti cupcake with icing = 240cal

This all per My Fitness Pal.

Now why aren't we eating a cupcake??? I want a cupcake

What's funny is the recipe for this that's on pinterest actually IS skinny because you use fat-free (or low fat, whatever) cool whip!!! Leave it to BBB and her meat necklace to un-skinny a perfectly delicious skinny recipe because it doesn't taste sweet enough to her–by subbing her fluff for the cool whip.

puke

Shakin' my damn head, BBB.

The truth is, I'm an emotional eater. I like sweets. I love grease. But I take accoutnability for myself and make a real effort to eat well most of the time. THIS is absurd. And nobody is calling her out on it!

Pinterest! I knew I had seen that recipe somewhere before. She totally wrote that as a recipe she had create herself. Bitch please.

Heheheheh, it's going to look like I'm WK-ing again, but if someone wanted to avoid flour AND get in some extra protein (from the yogurt), the dip WOULD be a good idea. Then again, dipping the Graham crackers in it defeats that, and it's BBB we're talking about, so…um…YEAH.

Never mind. lollollollollol

I get what you are saying GP9 and it makes sense. However, her saying save your ass some fluff or whatever she said is just dumb. She is saying that is a "skinny" recipe when in fact if you eat a damn cupcake it's less calories. The message of her post doesn't make sense at all.

Why aren't quotes working? Is it just me or is it jacked for everyone?

Ugghhhh. Assuming you had the lap band tightened (which I think we are all assuming is a lie at this point but she is continuing that charade so…), you should be considering all food FUEL because you don't get very much in you before your body starts to reject it. I totally understand cheats and I do feel they are necessary in moderation but um, BBB, you're doing it wrong. Like, way wrong. I would say at this point, since you've been enjoying fried cookies and ribfest to try things like fruit to curb your sweet cravings. And not funfetti dip. Wtf.

Oh, wait, nm. Tomorrow's a new day!!! dance

This may be a dumb question, but do y'all think she reads this thread? I'm tempted to send it to her. Some VERY useful info for her here.

I get what you're trying to say… If she'd made it the other way, it would have been a {slightly} healthier option compared to the cupcake, but then again, she added marshmallow fluff instead of the reduced fat/fat-free/whatever cool whip.

At this point, I'm wondering if she even has a lap band? From what the previous people had said up there, her eating habits don't match up to it at all. Could she be saying she does, but doesn't?

And, BoldButterBaby, since I'm going to assume you read this: A cheat meal is something that happens after WEEKS of doing fantastic, to celebrate your success. A cheat meal isn't something that happens DAILY because you ate a salad {covered in ranch} for lunch. RibFest, a fair, and that dip all in a week? Gesh. No wonder.

I think she does have a lap-band. It would be a really weird thing to lie about having one when clearly it hasn't worked (or she hasn't worked it, I should say). She mentioned having all the fluid removed during pregnancy, and I think her band has remained empty since then. With their family money problems, I'm not sure they have insurance, much less extra cash to get a fill in the band. I have read a lot of lap band weight loss blogs, and from what I've seen, an empty (unfilled) band offers no restriction. That's the whole selling point of the band vs. gastric bypass – it is removable, adjustable, and reversible. But without a fill, and without a reasonable eating plan, there's no hope of achieving weight loss goals.

I don't think anyone is saying she doesn't have one. We just think she's lying about having it recently filled in (within the last month) because of what she's posting that she's eating.

I was referring to she was all like's post, who questioned whether she had a band.

Yes she reads this site.  She was the one that tipped ML off. (I think)
