"Quiet, Beautiful Novels. To me, these are the kinds of books that come to mind when someone uses the term literature. Also, interestingly enough, both of these books have been made into films. So you know they are good. (Winky face.) Never Let Me Go is truly one of my all time favorite books. I adore Kazuo Ishiguro's story telling skillz. Love this haunting portrait of growing up. So fascinating. I also loved Memoirs of a Geisha by Arthur Golden. This was one of those books that I just couldn't put down."

Oh come on! It's like she didn't even try!  Or maybe she tried as hard as she could to sound eloquent but just couldn't figure it out so she purposely wrote bad.  Also, I'm pretty sure, judging by her descriptions, that she has never read either of these books.

Her description of Never Let Me Go sounds like she just rephrased someone else's review and didn't read the book herself. I would expect her to gush about how tragic and romantic it is if she had actually read it.

Have you seen the movie adaptation? It made me cry a lot.

ETA: I think it's funny that she recommends a book by comparing it to The Walking Dead without acknowledging that the tv series is based on a graphic novel. Looking smart, Emma!

Reminds me of the kids in high school who tried to pass off book reviews based on what they read from the back cover.

Not that her """review""" was any good at all, but I fucking lost it when I read "story telling skillz".  Stop trying so hard to be funny, Emma.
She can barely string together complete, coherent sentences.  Has someone been huffing too many craft glue fumes? wink

She doesn't care about reading, she cares about earning money on Amazon.

How about pairing that skirt three ways.. Two of which include a chambray shirt. It's a completely different look if you tie it like a tard.

Hey Elsie, tilt-shift photography: yer doin it rong.

It blows my mind how large companies like Adobe just hand over their products to imbeciles like these two, to represent them.

I, too, am equally confused as to why a large brand would choose someone who has no basis of knowledge on anything Photoshop related.

I CANNOT stand that she calls Jeremy "Mr. Larson"! Its so so freaking annoying. "Off on a date with Mr. Larson" I laughed so hard once, I saw a comment from a new reader that said she thought she was talking about a teacher. In a new post on her everyday Elsie, shes now just calling him "Larson" WTF?

Yeah, that doesn't look like tilt-shift at all.  It usually works best on subjects that are far away, not shit that's right up close in your house.

I agree, what a terrible example.  Plus, if you want to tilt-shift your pics you can do it for free.
