I am missing all the good laffs from the old AP thread, and I don't want to give her pageviews! Has she worn anything crazy and posed awkwardly lately?

I actually don't mind giving her page views because I hope she never stops blogging.  She's one of the few I don't mind "giving money" to via clicks because she is a neverending source of entertainment.  I do hope she has to get a real job again someday, but whatever…

Nothing too crazy as of late, but I did think this was ugly:

She wore this for a "fancy" dinner date with Husband Mike.  Her hair is back to being terrible, too.

A page or so back from that post, she has a post about "good fancy" and "bad fancy"
THIS IS BAD FANCY, SAL : (

The skirt itself is nice, but not with that sweater, tights, or awful shoes.  This would have been adorable with black opaque tights, high, thin heeled and feminine black shoes (something like this), and an ivory fitted, cap-sleeved angora or cashmere crewneck or balletneck tee (tucked in) with a long string of pearls tied with a black bow.  That burgundy sweater is just too heavy and drab for the skirt (it looks like something you would layer under, not wear by itself), the dark tights are alright but are dragged down by the elementary-school style of the shoes.  Also, burgundy on top and bottom isn't very imaginative.

^^^ I agree! The outfit as it is now makes her look like a ballet mistress taking a break backstage.

Yes!!  I like the skirt, but she just grannies everything up and drabs it down.

It's one thing to have a neck tattoo (lots of 30-somethings have them *cough*), but it's another to act like you still think it's cool.

It's not.

By wearing her plain sweater over her skirt like that, rather than tucked in, she just looks kind of dumpy. Actually scratch the "kind of". I also can't believe that this hair is still happening…my friends would have said something by now.

Guess I had some AP snark bottled up – glad this is back on the forum!

Also, I love tattoos (my catman has tons, and I think they are hot on a lot of people) – but Sally's are fucking ugly.  I'm sorry.  I know it's judgmental to have an opinion on something as personal as tattoos, but Sally's look like they were purchased from a bubblegum machine.  To me, they are just the epitome of trying-so-hard-to-be-edgy-but-really-just-dorky.  Basically Sal in a nutshell, really.

Oh god, I remember when she got the neck tattoo–it was just after the shopping ban, and she had it done in SF. I think it was by someone Audie went to for some of hers. And it's special and a crown because her given name of Sarah means "princess." She got the stars on her foot done at the same time.

Maybe that's why she cut her hair when she left her job–so she could show off her tattoo more.

Her tattoo is recent?? Like, in the last few years? I thought it was a relic from the late 90s, which makes it less sad/more understandable.
