Paultato Head Carr is now trying a new tactic to keep his “just pissing people off muthafuckas” street cred: telling his readers to shut up.
His “column” this week starts off with the super friendly sentence “One of the most tiresome group of people you encounter when you write a weekly column is the “suggesters”.” He then spends 1200 words blathering on about how he and he alone is qualified to decide what you are interested in reading which won’t be about Murdoch or blah blah and tries to finish it off with a funny. It wasn’t funny. Which resulted in a little twitter tiff:

Suuuure. Because not giving a fuck about traffic is how hacks like you keep your job. I seem to recall you losing a column not too long ago because of lack of traffic. But hey, keep up the attitude.

See, Paul isn’t trolling. He is smarter and more awesome than you, and using his OMG REAL NAME. That means whatever he says automatically has validity! Whatever.
He’s a legend in his own mind. Nowhere else.
